On January 23, Zijiao Town of Huimin County invited Hamza Yaqoob (Guoran), head of a relevant agricultural development company from Punjab Province, Pakistan, and consultant Muhammad Atif (Li Anxu) to participate in an online exchange. Focusing on industrial development, the two sides shared friendship and discussed cooperation, promoting the deep integration of rural revitalization and international exchange.

Zhang Xueli, Member of the Party Committee and Director of Publicity and United Front Work of Zijiao Town, Huimin County, extended a warm welcome to the Pakistani guests and introduced the local industrial development situation. Through a combination of internal cultivation and external investment attraction, Zijiao Town has built a diversified industrial development system featuring “facility-based vegetable production as the lead, upgraded traditional livestock breeding, distinctive cultural and tourism experiences, and green intelligent manufacturing.” The town has received five national and provincial honors, including “National Sanitary Town,” “National Strong Agricultural Industry Town,” and “Provincial Model Unit for Anti-Pornography and Anti-Illegal Publications.” Key projects such as Huarui Transportation’s high-end new building materials project and Rongfeng Textile’s common prosperity workshop have been launched, and technological renovation projects such as the Xiyunwang automated fruit and vegetable canning production line have been completed.

As a National Strong Agricultural Industry Town, Zijiao Town has developed a smart cucumber planting demonstration base covering over 600 mu in total, while also building the Northern Shandong Vegetable Trading Center and an industrial development flexible labor market. The Huimin Blueberry Picking Tourism Festival has been successfully held for three consecutive years, attracting a cumulative total of over 250,000 visitors and generating more than 27 million yuan in tourism revenue.

At the same time, the event also introduced the industrial layout of livestock breeding and deep processing of agricultural products. A complete industrial chain has taken shape locally, with multiple industrial and common prosperity workshop projects put into operation, laying a solid foundation for external cooperation.

The two Pakistani guests spoke highly of Zijiao Town’s industrial achievements, and both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on areas such as agricultural product trade and technological exchange. Going forward, Huimin County will continue to strengthen its distinctive industries, promote quality improvement and upgrading of its industrial sectors, and inject new momentum into rural revitalization.
